The Cancer Wellness Program offers a multidisciplinary approach to improving the health and well-being of those facing the challenges of cancer. Based on three basic components of good health ---- exercise, proper nutrition and psychological well-being ---- the program has been specially developed to help participants gain valuable coping skills, education and psychosocial support to improve their outlook and move towards the future. Classes are offered in group sessions of approximately 10 participants and are held at the Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center. The program was made possible through the generous support of special benefactor, Helen Beck, to celebrate the strength, courage, and recovery of her daughter Melissa Raphael. The eight-week program offers a range of activities that will help enhance the healing process.
Programs are held at the Siegler Center for Integrative Medicine at Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center,200 South Orange Avenue, Livingston, NJ. [ top ] |
