New Physician

Chayim Y. Newmark , M.D.
Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes
at Saint Barnabas Medical Center

Dr. Newmark has joined Dr. Anhalt and Dr. Oppenheimer in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

Dr. Newmark competed his medical school training, pediatric residency, and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Washington University, Saint Louis Children’s Hospital. He has vast experience in the treatment of infants, children and adolescents, with diabetes mellitus, growth disorders, thyroid abnormalities, obesity, and other endocrine disorders.

Dr. Newmark recently completed a study evaluating the benefits of utilizing postprandial blood sugars with the use of the continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS sensor) in children with diabetes.
