Saint Barnabas Medical Center Holds an Update Concerning Breast Cancer Treatment Livingston, N.J. – The Cancer Centers of Saint Barnabas Medical Center has planned a free Breast Cancer Symposium entitled “Empowering Through Knowledge” for Saturday, March 24, 2007. This program is designed to provide individuals with the most up-to-date information as recently presented at the 29th Annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, an international event which addresses new and late breaking breast cancer information. Presentations will be made by a multidisciplinary team of experts and topics will include bone health, maintaining relationships and post-treatment issues such as Lymphadema, boosting your immune system, the energy of healing and using exercise to enhance your recovery. The event will be held in the Islami Auditorium at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, located at 94 Old Short Hills Road in Livingston. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the program will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pre-registration is requested; please call 1-888-SBHS-123 by March 14, 2007.
