Toms River, NJ – Residents of Ocean County recently gathered at Kensington Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Toms River for “Brain Boot Camp”.  Attendees discovered how to “flex their neurons” through an entertaining and interactive look at memory loss.  The free program, which was presented by Community Medical Center Home Health and Community Kare, Inc., offered tips to participants to keep their brain in shape by engaging in “smart attack tactics”.

Pictured above, Toms River Resident Marion Schneider (left) plays “Operation Identify” with “Brain Boot Camp” leader, Liz Dorick, Outreach Coordinator for Community Medical Center Home Health, Community Kare, Inc, and Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center.  “Operation Identify” challenged participants to identify a concealed item by just using their sense of touch.
