In addition to home based and extended care facility hospice services
Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center is
proud to offer our dedicated inpatient hospice unit located on Unit
3D at Community Medical Center. The Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative
Care inpatient unit is the first and only inpatient hospice unit available
in Ocean County. Our
unit offers private rooms with 24 hour visiting.
Families can enjoy being with their loved ones in a home like setting
which includes a mediation room, a large family gathering room and a
spacious kitchen designed for their use.
The Van Dyke Hospice & Palliative
Care In-patient unit at Community Medical Center provides patients with
the highest possible level of support and symptom management on a short-term
basis.
