Your physician will decide if a PET scan is required and will write
an order (prescription) for the exam. You bring
the prescription with you on the day of you exam
and any additional information necessary.
Patients are required to have certain tests, such as CT scans, before
having a PET scan. The Imaging Center must have the results from such
tests prior to scheduling your PET appointment.
Schedulers are available to assist you with any general questions
you may have. Technical staff is also available if a more comprehensive
explanation is needed.
