This program offers a caring, fun, safe environment
for adults who might be unsafe at home during the day, and also provides
their caregiver with much needed time to take care of their own needs. The
isolated elderly also benefit from the friendly social environment
shared by the participants. A program day includes a light breakfast,
nutritious hot lunch, therapeutic exercise programs matched to the
participant’s needs, stimulating activities coordinated by a
certified activities director, and various live entertainment and
trips. Health needs are monitored by Registered Nurses who maintain
contact with participant’s private doctors on a regular basis. Transportation
is available. Our social workers are more than happy to assist
families with the ever-changing needs of our program members.
