Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is home to New Jersey’s only lung transplant program. The program offers residents increased access to lung transplantation for the treatment of severe, non-malignant pulmonary disease. In addition to providing better and more efficient care for the people of New Jersey, the permanently licensed lung transplant program will help increase organ donation.
