Stanley Einzig, MD, PhD, Director, Pediatric and Fetal Echocardiography, joined Children’s Hospital of New Jersey from West Virginia University, Morgantown, were he served as Chief of Pediatric Cardiology, Professor of Pediatrics and Physiology, and Vice-Chair of Research for the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Einzig received his medical degree from UCLA, Los Angeles, CA and completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, Minneapolis. In addition, Dr. Einzig earned a doctorate in physiology at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Einzig’s clinical and research interests include pediatric and fetal echocardiography, cardiomyopathy, and myocardial blood flow distribution. He has authored more than 130 abstracts and over 100 articles published in medical journals. In addition to membership in many pediatric and pediatric cardiology professional societies, he is a member of the American Physiological Society and the Society for Pediatric Research.
