Integrative Medicine is based on a principal in which both conventional
and complementary modalities are used to stimulate the body's natural
healing potential. An integrative approach looks beyond symptoms or
disease status and considers the whole individual in order to achieve
health.
Our center combines the technology and expertise of conventional
medicine with the healing powers and wisdom of complementary therapies.
There are several ways in which a person can be seen by the staff
at the Siegler Center:
- Patients can make an appointment on their
own to see our physician or to be seen by any
one of our practitioners.
- Patients can be referred to the Center by
their physician.
A
comprehensive consultation can occur to determine what integrative
therapies may be beneficial for them in the treatment of specific
conditions, or simply to enhance overall wellness (prevention).
Only therapies with medical evidence supporting their effectiveness
are used at the Center to ensure patients are receiving safe, effective
treatment options.
The Carol and Morton Siegler Center for Integrative Medicine is the
premier integrative medicine program in the region and is licensed
by the State Department of Health and Senior Services.
