Dr. Otakar Hubschamnn has been on staff at Saint Barnabas Medical Center for more than 15 years. He is a graduate of the Charles University Medical School, Prague, Czechoslovakia and received his surgical and neurosurgical training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Prior to joining Saint Barnabas, he was a full professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and engaged in federally funded research. He is Board Certified in Neurosurgery and has contributed significantly to the current understanding of the mechanisms of certain types of brain hemorrhage. Dr. Hubschmann is responsible for creating the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at Saint Barnabas, one of only two in New Jersey, and has helped to establish Saint Barnabas as the largest neurosurgical center in state. Dr. Hubschmann is an internationally and nationally respected neurosurgeon, lecturer and author of more than 50 scientific articles and abstracts.

Dr. Werner K. Doyle has over 15 years experience as a surgeon and neurosurgeon and is also the Director of the Epilepsy, Functional and Stereotactic Neurosurgery Program at New York University School of Medicine. His specialty interests include epilepsy surgery, stereotactic and functional neurosurgery.
Dr. Doyle has helped to pioneer computerized three-dimensional imaging in the operating room to make surgeries safer and more effective. He received his medical degree from Columbia University and completed his neurosurgical residency at New York University and a Fellowship in Epilepsy Surgery at Yale Medical School.

Dr. Arthur Gilman is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medial School and completed his residency and research fellowship in neurophysiology and neuroendocrinology at Ohio State University. He has a particular interest in hydrocephalus and related problems, as well as stereotactic radiosurgery and applied clinical neurophysiology. Dr. Gilman is Board eligible in Neurosurgical Surgery.

Dr. Joseph Koziol is a graduate of Georgetown University and received his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He participated in extensive surgical and neurosurgical post-graduate training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and received additional training in skull base surgery and skull reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Koziol is Board Certified in Neurosurgical Surgery and is the Director of Adult Neurosurgery Division at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, an affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System.
