Ambulatory Care Center
The Saint Barnabas Ambulatory
Care Center offers many key services and programs that promote the early
detection of cancer and/or benefit patients with a cancer diagnosis.
The
Breast Center at the Ambulatory Care Center offers women the
comprehensive breast care wellness services essential for good health,
with complete diagnostic services including mammography, stereotactic
breast biopsy, sonography or ultrasound and breast cyst aspiration.
The Imaging Center
offers the most sophisticated diagnostic radiology equipment and testing
including such specialized technology as Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
and CT scanners, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine, and three of the most
advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners available.
The Cancer Genetic
Counseling Center is a joint program with the Saint Barnabas Breast Center
and Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is designed to assist in the early
detection of breast cancer for those at high risk. Both genetic testing and
genetic counseling services are available.
The Carol
and Morton Siegler Center for Integrative Medicine offers an Integrative
Oncology Program and provides safe and effective complementary health care for
patients with a cancer diagnosis. Services
and therapies offered include mind/body medicine, acupuncture, massage/bodywork,
nutritional counseling, and dietary and herbal supplement counseling.
The Center
for Health and Wellness offers a unique program designed exclusively
for individuals with special health conditions such as cancer. The
objective of the program is to assist individuals to achieve their
health and fitness goals in a safe, health care monitored environment.
