We offer the most sophisticated diagnostic radiology
equipment and testing including such specialized
technology as Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
and CT scanners, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine,
and three of the most advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners
available.
We ensure that all diagnostic studies are performed by highly
trained, licensed and certified radiologic technologists,
and are reviewed by board-certified radiologists who specialize in mammography.
Dexa Scans, vascular studies, fluoroscopic studies and x-rays are also
read by board-certified physicians who are specialists in their fields.
The Saint Barnabas Breast and Women's Imaging Center
at Bedminster is
one of the few facilities in the area with a certified
female radiologic technologist on staff who is trained and certified
in bone densitometry by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry
(ISCD). Nurse educators are accessible to provide valuable information
to patients regarding breast self-exams, test results, women’s
health issues, and access to additional resources.
