the brain and spinal cord. Each year, nearly 20,000 brain and other
tumors of the CNS are diagnosed, prompting the need for a course of
treatment that ensures the best possible outcomes. Because brain tumors
are a complex array of diseases, their treatment depends on a number
of factors, including the type, location and size of the tumor, as well
as the patient’s age and overall health.
