Saint Barnabas Health Care System is home to two specialized
hospitals dedicated to ill and injured children ranging from
newborns to adolescents, as well as to providing preventive
programs that promote wellness. Following the successful
model of Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark
Beth Israel Medical Center, Monmouth
Medical Center’s commitment to children’s health was officially recognized
by the State of New Jersey when it granted it licensing as
the official children’s hospital for Monmouth and Ocean
Counties in December 2005.
Recognizing that the special needs of children and their families
extend far beyond clinical interventions, both facilities provide
a child-friendly atmosphere complemented by the advanced level
of care and services provided by medical and surgical specialists.
Children and families have access to over 150 physicians in
30 pediatric specialties at each facility, leading the way
in pediatric health care in New Jersey.
