Our pediatric nephrologists provide inpatient consultation
service for children with a wide variety of kidney disease.
We offer the latest in diagnosis and treatment plans for
children with urinary tract infections, blood or protein
in the urine, inflammatory kidney diseases, hypertension,
edema or swelling, kidney stones, cystic kidney disease and
other structural kidney abnormalities.
At Monmouth Medical
Center, specifically, acute dialysis is available through
an affiliation with Saint Peter’s University Hospital, where peritoneal
dialysis, hemodailysis and hemoperfusion are performed.
Pediatric kidney transplantation
is provided through Saint Barnabas Medical Center, the largest
pediatric kidney transplant center in the state of New Jersey.
