The world-class Renal and Pancreas Transplant Division, with programs Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, is one of the world's most progressive transplant programs and one of the two largest programs among 240 in the United States. In 2009, the Division achieved record-breaking volumes - performing 290 transplants, which included 140 living donor transplants.
