Support groups for patients and family member also provide a forum for discussion among others who are coping with the disease, including learning about their diagnosis and helping to reduce their concerns during treatment and recover.

“Kidz Kare Junior Council--Kidz Helping Other Kidz” is the new junior council for The Children’s Hospital at Monmouth, which includes The Valerie Center, and was established under the auspices of the Monmouth Medical Center Foundation.
