The Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center Treatment
The Valerie Center at The Children’s Hospital at Monmouth uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide medical and psychosocial care at the time of diagnosis, during treatment and long-term care after the end of treatment. Lifetime follow-up care is provided through the Leon Hess Cancer Center at Monmouth.

A host of factors, including a child’s
general health, type of cancer, stage of disease, age and other factors,
are considered in developing the best treatment plan. Most children
receive a combination of therapies, which can include chemotherapy,
immunotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy, and bone marrow of peripheral
blood stem cell transplantation.
