
Dr. Brener is a renowned vascular surgeon who continues
to advance minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment
of circulatory illness and injury. He has served as principal investigator
for numerous clinical research studies throughout his career, including
several that provide patients with the newest generation of stent grafts
used to treat aneurysms. Dr. Brener is widely published on topics in
vascular surgery and he has made hundreds of presentations at national
and international professional conferences.
Dr. Brener received his undergraduate degree from Yale University,
New Haven, CT and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, Boston,
MA. He completed residencies in general surgery at Peter Bent Brigham
Hospital, Boston, MA; and West Roxbury V.A. Hospital, MA; as well as
a fellowship in vascular surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Brener is board-certified in surgery and vascular surgery. He serves
as President of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Surgeons
and has been President of the Vascular Society of New Jersey, the Eastern
Vascular Society and the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery. In addition,
he served as Governor of the American College of Surgeons, representing
vascular surgeons.

Dr. Hertz received his undergraduate degree from
Harvard University, Boston, MA, and received his
medical degree from Albert Einstein College of
Medicine, New York, NY. He completed his residency
in general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center,
New York, NY, and a fellowship in vascular surgery
at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center,
Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Hertz has been a member of
the surgical staff at Saint Barnabas Medical Center
and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center since 1993.
He is board-certified in surgery and vascular surgery
and is President of the Vascular Society of New
Jersey. Dr. Hertz has written many journal articles
and book chapters, and made numerous presentations
on the subject of vascular disease management.

Dr. Fletcher received his undergraduate degree
at Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, MD,
and received his medical degree at The George Washington
University School of Medicine, in Washington, D.C.,
where he also completed his surgical residency.
He has been a member of the surgical staff at Saint
Barnabas Medical Center since 1972. Currently,
he is clinical associate professor of surgery at
the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey,
Newark. Dr. Fletcher is board certified in surgery
and has published widely on a variety of surgical
topics. In addition, Dr. Fletcher is Governor of
the American College of Surgeons and is past President
of the organization’s New Jersey Chapter.
