Healthcare Providers, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics,
EMTs and other professionals whose job requires completion
of a written evaluation and successful skills performance. Private,
on-site courses can be arranged for groups of six or more.

This course is designed to meet the needs of
healthcare professionals who respond to cardiac and respiratory
emergencies. The course content includes adult, pediatric
and infant CPR, foreign-body airway obstruction, two-rescuer
CPR, barrier devices and the use of the Automated External
Defibrillator (AED).
Non-licensed/certified Healthcare Providers who support
medical staff in areas of cardiac and respiratory emergencies,
i.e. Allied health professionals.

The initial class is 6 hours in duration and the renewal
class is 4 hours. To be eligible for a renewal, your card
must be current.

Course
completion card will be issued within 30 days of the class,
but the instructor will provide a course completion letter
at the end of the class. This letter is to serve as
temporary proof of certification for Healthcare Provider
CPR course.
If a course has insufficient
registrations, we may need to cancel the course. If
this is to occur, you will be notified by telephone 1-2 days
before the scheduled date of the course.
Due to classroom space, some courses are limited to 18
registrants and fill up rather quickly. We highly recommend
that you complete and return the registrations form as soon
as possible.
Cancellations
made by the registrants must be submitted in writing along
with the return of textbook (clean/usable condition) s. If
the textbook is not returned, the cost of the book will be
deducted from the refund. In
order to receive a full refund notification must be received
five days before the scheduled course. Cancellations
received less than five (5) business days before scheduled
course are subject to a $10.00 cancellation fee.
Rescheduling a course
less than five (5), business days prior to the course are
subject to a $10.00 administrative fee.
The Community Training Center adheres to all requirements
of the American Heart Associations regarding course testing
and completion.

instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials
in educational course does not represent course sponsorship
by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such

material, do not represent income to the Association.
