Pediatric Advanced Life Support

The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is designed to develop the resuscitation skills of physicians, physician assistants, nurses, paramedics, and respiratory therapists.

All students must submit copies of their current Healthcare Provider CPR card with their PALS registration.

There are two types of PALS courses offered:

Two-Day Programs: This program is for students who do not have a current PALS card, or for those students renewing with current cards who wish to take the full program. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory.

Standard One-Day Renewal Program: This is for those students with current unexpired cards who possess an active familiarity with PALS, and feel comfortable with an abbreviated renewal course. One-day renewals are ONLY permitted at designated renewal programs, and are not permitted at the second day of a two-day program.

	$250 SBHCS Employee (with textbook for Initial or Expired PALS card )
FEE:	$225 Non SBHCS Employee (Renewal with Textbook)
	$200 SBHCS Employee (Renewal with Textbook)

FEE:	$200 Non SBHCS Employee (Renewal without Textbook)
	$175 SBHCS Employee (Renewal without Textbook)

Please enclose a copy of your current healthcare provider card and, if you are registering as a renewal, a copy of your current PALS card. All incomplete registrations will be rejected and returned for completion.

COMPLETE REGISTRATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE COURSE. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE CONFIRMATION AND COURSE MATERIALS TEN (10) DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLASS DATE, YOU MUST CONTACT THE CPR TRAINING CENTER AT 1-888-277-2281 TO CONFIRM RECEIPT OF YOUR REGISTRATION.

Course Completion: The Community Training Center adheres to all requirements of the American Heart Association regarding course testing and completion. Upon successfully completing the course you will receive a letter of completion with documentation of attendance and thirteen (13) contact hours for Physicians, Paramedics and Respiratory Therapists, separate contact hour certificates for nurses will also be available.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.
