| Our Staff
The
Community Training Center at Newark Beth Israel Medical
Center has a staff of seven full-time employees with a
combined total of almost 60 years of American Heart Association
instructional experience. We have 375 affiliated instructors
from all health care disciplines (physicians, nurses,
paramedics, respiratory therapists, EMTs) who teach for
us on a regular basis. Our instructional staff also includes
five Regional Faculty members and one National Faculty
member of the American Heart Association.

for the daily function of the Department of Resuscitation
Services and oversight of all programs run by the training
center.

is the PALS Program Coordinator and oversees the day-to-day
operation of the PALS program.
, coordinates
the BLS portion of our department and is responsible
for CPR, First Aid and AED components of the department.
is
an ACLS Regional Faculty for the New Jersey Region
of the AHA and runs the ACLS program by handling
the day-to-day function of this program.

- , is the ACLS Medical Director. Dr. Nahmias
is a Pulmonologist and Sleep Disorders Specialist at
Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

is the Medical Director for the PALS program and is
a Pediatric Intensive Care physician.
- , is the ACLS Experienced Provider Medical
Director. Dr. Morris is President of the Newark Beth
Israel Medical Center Anesthesia Group and is a member
of the American Heart Association regional faculty.
